I tried to mix and match some bright and dark colours. I feel the yellow pants bring out a nice pop of colour in the picture. Instead of a more neutral background, decided to go with the red wall, as it just made the entire picture about play of colours.

You’ve got an interesting photo here. Really, the color is very striking. And the yellow trousers create a strong accent of color. The tones are also very natural.
Everything is good with the sharpness. The portrait format is well chosen.
You’ve correctly used a wide aperture and set a minimal ISO value.
Замечания и рекомендации
The visible slant along the brickwork doesn’t look great. It would be worth shooting on a more even level, or evening out the photo in an editor afterwards.
If this photo is more about the girl than the trousers, then you would want to see her face better. She is bent down too much.
It would be simpler if you shot in aperture priority mode rather than manual mode. Manual mode is very specific and requires specific conditions. For example, shooting in a studio. It becomes awkward when you need to monitor and adjust the two different parameters – the shutter speed and aperture – alongside each other at the same time. Also, most subjects that photographers are drawn to are easier to shoot in aperture priority mode. When you establish the necessary aperture value, you control the depth of field. And the shutter speed is automatically set by the camera’s automatic settings. If you are working on dynamics (freezing motion, or blurring it) then you need to switch to shutter priority mode. This will automatically calibrate the corresponding aperture. If when you are shooting in either shutter or aperture priority mode the photo comes out darker or lighter than you want it to, then amend the exposure compensation.
